The opening ceremony of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (47/2026) conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held at 10:00 am on 15 June 2026 at the Wunzinminyarzar Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon). H.E. U Naing Min Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs delivered the opening remarks.

Present at the occasion were retired Deputy Ministers, retired Myanmar ambassadors, senior diplomats, the Director-General and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and trainees.

The Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (47/2026) will be conducted in Yangon from 15 June 2026 to 4 September 2026 on weekdays from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. A total of 96 trainees, including civil servants and the private sector participants interested in international relations and diplomacy, will attend the course. This twelve-week course covers diplomacy, international relations, international law, political economy and general knowledge.
