Diploma in Diplomacy
The MDA, in affiliation with the Naypyitaw State Academy (NSA) is conducting a course: the Diploma in Diplomacy. It is structured to provide students with a thorough understanding of diplomatic theory and practice, preparing them for careers in international relations. The curriculum is divided into two semesters, each featuring four core modules that encompass various aspects of diplomacy, international relations, and foreign policy. The course spans eight months, divided into two semesters, and requires the completion of eight core modules totaling 24 credits. Each module is structured to achieve specific learning outcomes, ensuring that graduates develop competencies in analytical thinking, negotiation, international law, and effective communication. Assessment methods include tutorial-based evaluations, discussions, and closed-book examinations.
Graduates of the DID program will emerge with a strong foundation in international relations, opening diverse career pathways in government agencies, international organizations, non-profits, and academia.
The Myanmar Diplomatic Academy, through its Diploma in Diplomacy, is committed to developing skilled diplomats capable of navigating the complexities of international relations. Board of Study
The flagship course of the MDA is the Post Graduate Diploma in Diplomacy and to confer it in accordance with the National Education Law, the MDA is officially affiliated with the Naypyitaw State Academy (NSA). As such, Board of Study is established as follows:
