As part of the Guest Lectures Programme for the Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomacy Course (1/2025), conducted by the Myanmar Diplomatic Academy (MDA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Union Minister of Ministry of the Office of the President (2) U Ko Ko Hlaing delivered a lecture on 19 February 2026.

Under the title “Strategic Perspective, Geopolitical Opportunities and Challenges of Myanmar,” the Union Minister discussed the role of national interests, Myanmar’s geostrategic position, geopolitical opportunities and challenges, as well as the country’s strengths and vulnerabilities. He further elaborated on key geopolitical concepts relevant to Myanmar’s foreign policy environment.

The session was held at the MDA in Nay Pyi Taw with the participants from the Yangon class joining via video conference.
