The Myanmar Diplomatic Academy (MDA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Myanmar in Naypyitaw conducted a guest lecture series in Diploma in Diplomacy (1/2025) by Mr. Peter Punchenko, Senior Lecturer/ Researcher and Dr.Anna Sytnik, Associate Professor, from St. Petersburg State University on 15 October 2025.

Senior Lecturer/ Researcher Mr. Peter Punchenko provided the lecture titled “The voice of the global majority: How the Global South Shapes the rules of the 21st century” and Associate Professor Dr. Anna Sytnik provided the lecture titled “ASEAN Strategic Initiatives in the field of Artificial Intelligence: Myanmar’s potential and prospects for partnership with Russia” respectively.

The lectures were attended by a total number of 90 participants, including staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Naypyitaw and Yangon cohort of DID and intern students from the Naypyitaw State Academy.
